Hello Family and Friends,

It has been a while! I hope you have been enjoying our Facebook postings, which have been the focus for some time. I wanted to take a moment to revisit two key questions: Who are we, and what is it that we do?

Who are we?

We are a faith-based community of students, teachers, families, and parishioners working together to ensure that all of our students acquire the skills and abilities necessary to steer them into becoming dynamic citizens.

What is it that we do?

Each family informs us of the expectations that they have for their child, and each child has curriculum guidelines coupled with state mandated academic standards. Our nurturing and very able staff set out to meet all of these requirements and to provide a comprehensive developmental outcome for each child.

Through observations and planning we identify windows of opportunities to enhance our service. The environment allows for freedom of movement (within limits), exploration, discovery, and empowerment. This combination has led to the development of a thriving community, which includes current students and their families as well as alumni students and their families. It is the collaboration of this dedicated community that has led to Queen of Peace Children’s House being able to create outstanding citizens, one child as a time.

Looking Forward

Our continued desire for excellence in our educational offerings has led to our gaining full accreditation. This fall will see the implementation of one of our expansion initiatives with a new kindergarten program.

We look forward to a progressive and dynamic future.
